    Deceased Name: GENE A. SCROGGINS
    Retired Sgt. 1st Class Gene Austin Scroggins, 68, of 3804 Sheppard St., Fayetteville, died Thursday in his home.

    The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Rogers & Breece Funeral Home chapel by Chaplain David G. Epperson. Burial will be in the Main Post Cemetery on Fort Bragg.

    Mr. Scroggins is survived by his wife, Ilse Scroggins of the home; two daughters, Barbara S. Anderson of Springfield, Va., and Stephanie S. Reed of West Carrollton, Ohio; a brother, Larry Scroggins of Andalusia, Ala.; and one grandchild.

    The family will receive friends Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
