   Elaine Scroggins, 64, of Harrison, died Saturday, March 29 (2008) at Golden Living Center in Harrison.
   
   Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at Christeson Funeral Home with Kerry Liggett officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 31, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Brightwell, Russell Walker, Gary Hopkins, Trent Busch, Wes Morris and Charles Mallett.
   
   Memorials may be made to Legacy Hospice of North Arkansas, 215 North Chestnut, Harrison, Ark. 72601 or the ALS Association, Keith Worthington Chapter in Springfield, Mo.
   
   The daughter of Lillian Ellis was born July 16, 1943, at Harrison. Elaine was a seamstress for Levi Strauss for 27 years. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.
   
   She was preceded in death by her son, James Gregory Scroggins.
   
   She is survived by her husband, James Scroggins of Harrison; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Beverly Scroggins of Harrison, her mother, Lillian Ellis of Harrison; a brother, Bill Gross and wife Paula of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Paige Busch, Dane Warner and Isaac Scroggins of Harrison; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.

   Elaine Scroggins
   Elaine Scroggins, age 64, of Harrison, died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at the Golden Living Nursing Center in Harrison. She was born July 16, 1943, in Harrison, the daughter of Lillian Ellis. Mrs. Scroggins was preceded in death by her son, James Gregory Scroggins.
   
   Elaine was a seamstress at Levi Strauss for twenty seven years. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.
   
   Elaine Scroggins is survived by her husband, James Scroggins, of the home; her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Beverly Scroggins, of Harrison; her mother, Lillian Ellis, of Harrison; her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Paula Gross, of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Paige Busch, Dane Warner, and Isaac Scroggins, all of Harrison; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and dear friends throughout the community.
   
   Funeral service was Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Christeson Funeral Home, with Kerry Liggett officiating.
   
   Pallbearers were Chris Brightwell, Russell Walker, Gary Hopkins, Trent Busch, Wes Morris and Charles Mallett.
   
   Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.
