    In the Randolph Co. Court of Common Pleas August Term 1812 (found in the Gallatin Co. records) p20-21-22 is the following document.
    "On motion of Phillip Coon, Adm. of George Coon, dec'd, to return to inventory and appraisement of the Estate of said George Coon." A
    list of property is given with the value recorded. Appraisals were done by Gabriel Greathouse, John Pepper, Michael Robertson, Chatham
    Scroggins, Asa Ledbetter, William Johnson, and Benjamin M. Woods. Amount of the sale of property was $366.62. Phillip Coon was
    allowed expenses for getting in the crop and saving it, and going to Christian Co. to collect debts.
