    The funeral service for Mr. Randall Wayne Gulledge, 71, was held Friday, June 22, at the Sardis Freewill Baptist Church in Eufaula.

    The Rev. Johnny Lewis officiated and burial followed in the Sardis Church Cemetery with Kent Funeral Home directing.

    Mr. Gulledge died Wednesday, June 20, at his residence after an extended illness.

    Born April 23, 1930, in Barbour County, Mr. Gulledge was the son of the late Pascal and Minnie Lou Scroggins Gulledge. He was a lifelong resident of Barbour County and a member of the Sardis Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Gulledge was a member of the Grand Lodge of Georgia Masonic Lodge #3 in Macon, Ga., and a Shriner.

    Survivors include his wife, Grace Gilmore Gulledge, Eufaula; a son, Michael Gulledge, Acworth, Ga., two step-daughters, Christine Peel, Louisville and Carolyn Crafton, Cleburne, Texas; a sister, Nadine Daniels, Eufaula; three grandchildren, Robert, Nicholas and David Gulledge; four step grandchildren, Barbara Scroggins, Michelle Stevenson, John Lawson and JoAnna Hampton; one great grandchild, Arthur Gulledge; four step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great- great-grandchildren.

    Active pallbearers were McCoy Walls, Freddie Cox, Billie Mac Gulledge, Bill Scroggins, William T. Scroggins Jr., Jerry Stephenson, Cole Stephenson and Mark Andrews.

    Honorary pallbearers were Ron Rhodes, James Mitz, Melvin Clark, Jerry Green and Willie Jim Sanders.

    Flowers were accepted or donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Sardis Freewill Baptist Church or Wiregrass Hospice.3
