   Born in Union Chapel, she was the daughter of William Smith and Sarah Vera Hall Scroggins. She attended school at Big Prairie and later married Arthur Johnson on July 11, 1934, in Kiowa. She was preched in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters, Stella Hampton and Nina Marie Johnson; four stepchildren, Ora Dority, James Johnson, Harvey Johnson and Sonny Johnson; two sisters, Pearl Schoggins and Etna Scroggins; five brothers, Abe Scroggins, Wiley Scroggins, Bill Scroggins, Ott Scroggins, and Elwood Scroggins; a daughter-in-law, Geraldine Johnson, and a son-in-law, Tommy Nalley.
