    Deceased Name: Audrey C. Scroggins

    Audrey Curtis “A.C.” Scroggins, 88, of 5242 Fisher Road, Fayetteville, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003.

    Mr. Scroggins was a Navy veteran of World War II and a plant manager at Dixie Yarns in Cumberland before retiring.

    The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Cumberland United Methodist Church by the Revs. Ecke Lancaster and Grover Foster. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park West.

    Mr. Scroggins is survived by his wife, Amy Scroggins; a son, Jimmy Scroggins of Fayetteville; two daughters, Helen Barnes of College Park, Md., and Barbara Riggan of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Johnny Scroggins of Etowah, Tenn.; a sister, Glynn Arnwine of Covington, Ga.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

    The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills.

    Deceased Name: Amy C. Scroggins

    Mrs. Amy Carney Scroggins, 87, of 1601 Purdue Drive, Fayetteville, died Thursday, July 10, 2003, in Village Green Care Center.

    The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Cumberland United Methodist Church by the Revs. Eckie Lancaster and Hope Vickers. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park West.

    Mrs. Scoggins is survived by two daughters, Helen Barnes of College Park, Md., and Barbara Riggan of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Jimmy Scroggins of Fayetteville; two brothers, Brownie Carney of Chattanooga, Tenn., and George Carney of Pontiac, Mich.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

    The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills.
