Visitation Tuesday, 4-7 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, West Main St & Branch Ave, Anoka. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. John's Church.    Beck, Frances L. (Scroggins) age 92, of Elk River, passed away peacefully at her home on March 25, 2009. Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; parents, David & Marie Scroggins and brother, Walter Scroggins; sister, Dorothy Scroggins. Survived by her daughters, Marianne (Thomas) Graber of Elk River, Jane (Robert) Prouty of Madison, SD; sons, Malcolm (Brenda) of Elk River, Bevan (Cheryl) of Ogilvie, Robert (Peggy) of Nisswa and William (Margaret) of Bovey; 13 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. WWII Navy Cryptologist. "A special thank you to Fairview Home and Hospice and Guardian Angels Home Care, Barb Burandt and Margaret Reiman for their loving care of our mother." Funeral service 1:30 PM Monday at St. John Lutheran Church, 9231 Viking Blvd. NW, Nowthen. Visitation 4 to 8 PM Sunday at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St., Elk River, 763-441-1212 and 1 hour prior to services at church on Monday. Interment St. John's parish cemetery.
