    Elsie May Scroggins, 93, of Homosassa died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, at her home under the loving care of her family. Born Feb. 17, 1907, in Washington, D.C., she came to this area four years ago from Fairfax County, Virginia. She was a homemaker. She was Catholic.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis D. Scroggins, in 1984.

    She is survived by one daughter, Carol J. Mauck of Woodbridge, Va.; five granddaughters, Laura Kretzing, Maureen Wilson, Monica Powell, Kathleen Mauck and Theresa Livingston; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
