    Scroggins, Rollie E. "Ed" Age 66, of Aurora, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at his home. He was born November 28, 1945 in Aurora, IL. Ed was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and the Holy Name Society. He graduated from East Aurora High School. Ed retired from TBS Construction and was a member of Local 149. He enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking. He is survived by his wife Judith Scroggins; 2 sons Jaeson E. Scroggins and Jeffrey T. Scroggins; 2 daughters Kristen (Drew) Phillips of WA and Lynn Vega of CO; 7 grandchildren; his brother Tom (Pat) Scroggins of IL; his sister Pat Scroggins of AZ and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Evelyn and Rollie Scroggins, Sr. and his sister Bonnie Donley. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10:00am. Fr. David Engbarth will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N.     1920 - 2008

    Marie Kathleen "Kay" McCormick, 87 of Aurora, passed away Monday, August 11, 2008 at her home. She was born August 21, 1920 in Watseka, IL.

    Kay was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. She was a member of the Third Ward Auxillary Club and was an avid bowler in her younger years.

    Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Robert H. McCormick of Aurora; her children, Kay Wells of Morristown, TN, Clarence "Skip" (Bonnie) McCormick of Tucson, AZ, Judith (Rollie) Scroggins of Aurora, and Pat (Jim) Braun of Bristol; 14 grandchildren, Shawn, Molly, Carson, Caitlyn, Jaeson, Jeffrey, Nicole (John Paul), Chad (Jennifer), Amanda, Kelly, Paula, Roger, Mary, and Susie; 13 great-grandchildren; her sister, Jean (George) Banbury of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Wanda Hollon of Aurora.

    She was preceded in death by her son, Michael P. McCormick in 2004; her parents, Edward and Martha (Riddle) Nally; four brothers, Bill, Ralph, Edward, and Louis; and three sisters, Rosemary Olson, Dorothy Watkins, and Winona Schultz.

    Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Fr. David R. Engbarth will officiate. Private interment services will be held at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the Mass hour at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 650 S. Fifth St., Aurora.
