    Deceased Name: Jack L. Scroggins
    NEW BLOOMINGTON - Jack L. Scroggins, age 57, of New Bloomington, passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006, at his residence.

    He was born in Marion on June 14, 1949, to the late Wylie and Anna M. (Hamm) Scroggins.

    Jack was a Navy veteran andhe worked as a stationary steam engineer for Scioto Juvenile Corrections for the State of Ohio.

    Surviving are his wife, Jane (Brown) Scroggins; two daughters, Kelly (John) Kinsella of St. Paul, Minn., Jennifer M.Scroggins of New Bloomington; four brothers, Gene (Anita) Wells of Chicago, Jesse (Clara) Scroggins of New Bloomington, John (Emma) Scroggins of Mount Gilead, Kenneth (Becky) Scroggins of Mount Gilead; four sisters, Loretta (Walt) Mahler of Marion, Joyce (Richard) Bender of Delaware, Shirley (John) McManus of Marion, Mary (Jack) Edington of Marion, and a number of nieces and nephews.

    Jack was a member of St. Mary Church. He loved spending time with his family and was a BMW motorcycle fan.

    Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2006,at St Mary Church. Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, with graveside services being conducted by Marion County United Veterans Council. Serving as pallbearers are Dave Chaffin and Rich Bender.

    Memorial contributions may be made to Quality of Life Hospice, 278 Barks Road West, Marion, OH 43302.

    A celebration of Jack's life will be held following the burial at Jack and Jane's home.
