    Dewight Mac Norton died Feb. 15, 2003. He was 59.

    Survivors include his wife, Vickie; a daughter, Ginger Denise Scroggins of Branson, Mo; three sons, Dwight Norton of Nevada, Mo., Calvin Scott Norton of Springfield, Mo., and Darrel Ray Norton of Atlanta; six sisters, Frances Calieda and Elizabeth Montgomery, both of Wichita, Kan., Alice Vestal of Temple, Mary Kendrick and Dora Ann Gray, both of Brookfield, Mo., and Virginia Wroton of Arizona; a brother, Lynn Norton of Kansas City, Mo; and five grandchildren.

    Sept. 26, 1943-Feb. 15, 2003 A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 1, in the Engles Senior Center, Buffalo.

    Dewight Mac Norton, 59, was born Sept. 26, 1943, son of Alvin Ambrose and Leota Alvesta (McDonald) Norton. He died Feb. 15, 2003, in his home in Corpus Christi, Texas, after a long illness.

    He was united in marriage with Vickie Ann Rothenberger on Dec. 27, 1963, and to this union five children were born.

    He served in the U.S. Navy where he received his electricians license. He was also in a twelve step program since 1984. He worked hard at all he did during his life here with us. He had been a resident of the Buffalo community for many years.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Shelly Louise Norton; and four brothers: Frankie, Donnie, James and Danny.

    Survivors include his wife, Vickie Norton, of the home; a daughter, Ginger and husband, Joe Scroggins, Branson; three sons: Dwight Norton, Nevada, Scott Norton, Springfield, and Darrell Norton, Atlanta, Ga; five grandchildren: Angela and Amy Norton, Branson, Whitney Norton, Columbia; and Alvee and Juliana Norton, Atlanta, Ga; six sisters: Frances Calienda and Elizabeth Montgomery, both of Witchita, Kan., Virginia Wroton, Arizona, Mary Kendrick and DoraAnn Gray, both of Brookfield, and Alice Vestal, Temple, Texas; one brother, Lynn Norton, Kansas City; and many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends who will all greatly miss him.2
