    Services for Norman Scroggins, 63, will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2003 at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Rev. Clarence Kitchen and Rev. C.D. Luckey officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

    Mr. Scroggins, son of the late W.T. and Mary Scroggins, died Friday, March 7, 2003 at Jackson General Hospital. He was retired form the U.S. Navy.

    He leaves his wife, Ann Scroggins; a step-daughter, Karen Cooper of Jackson; two sons, Norman Keith Scroggins of Tombstone, AZ and Norman Bradley Scroggins of Jackson; two step-sons, Charles Smythe of Jonesboro, AR and Tony Smythe of Jackson; and a special, loving mother, Barbara H. Scroggins, who is much loved! He also leaves three sisters, Judy Rogers and Debbie Mayo both of Jackson and Jannie Ross of Pinson; four brothers, Henry Scroggins, Gene Scroggins, Tommy Scroggins and Ronnie Dyer all of Jackson; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Sue Lewis and a brother, Billy Dyer.

    The family will receive friends at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons today from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

    Mr. Scroggins, owner/operator of Bonwood Cafe at Bob Parker's Wrecker Service, died Sunday, June 19, 2005 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born on April 19, 1942 in Columbia, TN the son of the late William Thomas and Mary Martha Scott Scroggins.

    He is survived by his wife, Shirley Banks Scroggins of Jackson, TN; daughters, Teresa Smith of Medon, TN and Anita West of Beech Bluff, TN; son, James Henry Scroggins of Jackson, TN; stepmother, Barbara Scroggins of Jackson, TN; sisters, Judy Rogers and Debbie Lee of Jackson, TN and Janie Ross of Pinson, TN; brothers, Thomas Eugene Scroggins of Jackson, TN, Ronald Dyer of Beech Bluff, Thomas Allen Scroggins of Jackson, TN; one granddaughter, Angel Michelle Scroggins; four grandsons, Dustin Smith, Jay McIntosh, Kenny West and James Henry Scroggins, Jr.

    Mr. Scroggins was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Sue Scroggins Lewis; two brothers, Norman Scroggins and Billy Dyer.

    Pallbearers to serve are Charlie Lewis, William (Bubba) McCommon, Jr., Tony Smythe, Michael Jackson, Michael Bullock, Lewis Burkhead and Dewayne Burkhead.
