   Services for Alma Imogene Scroggins Nolen, 90, Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of the Ada, Okla., area were 2 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Temple Diehl officiated. Burial followed at Rosedale Cemetery.
   
   Mrs. Nolen died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, in Albuquerque, N.M. She was born April 12, 1922, in Francis, Okla., to George Washington and Martha Elizabeth Griffith Scroggins. She attended Cedar Grove (Oklahoma) and Allen (Oklahoma) elementary schools and graduated from Francis (Oklahoma) High School in 1941. She also took business courses in Galveston, Texas.
   
   She married Victor Arthur Nolen on Feb. 4, 1944, at the Naval Base in Corpus Christi, Texas. He died in 1987 in Pearland, Texas.
   
   Mrs. Nolen sold Avon products for 50 years. She was employed in rental property management for 25 years, an EKG technician and had also been a secretary for Pioneer Airlines. Mrs. Nolen was a member of Pearland, Texas Methodist Church. She had served as a Girl Scout leader and a Cub Scout leader. She helped organize the Pearland Order of Eastern Star and had served as the first worthy matron of Pearland Order of Eastern Star. She was formerly a president of Pearland Home Demonstration Club, served 15 years on Brazoria County Executive Committee of the Brazoria County Fair Board. Mrs. Nolen served on Brazoria County Draft Board, organized the Pearland League of Women Voters and had helped organize the Pearland American Business Women Club. She was elected the “Woman of the Year” of American Business Women. She served as an election judge, precinct chairman in Pearland, Texas, and was elected as a delegate to the Texas State Senatorial Committee. She was elected in the Texas State Convention to be a National Delegate to the Los Angeles Democratic Convention and she had helped organize the Democratic Party Headquarters in Pearland, Texas. Mrs. Nolen volunteered at Memorial Baptist Hospital, the Gateway Visitor Center, Neighborhood Center and the Christian Helping Hands.
   
   Survivors include a brother, Leoma Scroggins; daughter, Cynthia Bodine; son, Michael Nolen; her grandchildren, Randy Bodine, Matthew Bodine, Andrew Bodine, Tiana Bodine, Sean Nolen, Nicholas Nolen, Erin Nolen, Christopher Nolen; her great-grandchildren, Tony Bodine, Lorna Bodine, Luke Bodine, Nicole Bodine, Erik Bodine, Brandon Bodine, Dominik Marquez, Michael Marquez, and Mercedez Marquez; and many nieces and nephews.
   
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Victor Arthur Nolen; six of her seven brothers; and one sister.
