   Kendall Henry Scrogin, 49, of Live Oak died Oct. 18, 2002, at his residence.
   
   Born in Gridley, he was a lifelong Mid-Valley resident. He was a self-employed welder for 25 years.
   
   Survivors include his parents, Henry and Darline Scrogin of Gridley; three brothers, Garrot Scrogin of Live Oak and Richard "Dick" Scrogin and David Scrogin both of Gridley; and his grandmother, Wenonah Smith of Highland.
   
   He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kendall Smith and Henry and Eudora Scrogin.
   
   Services: A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Lewis McElfresh of Cooper Avenue Baptist Church will officiate. A private inurnment will be under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel and Crematory.
