Jeffrey Scroggins, 46, of Amarillo died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in South Georgia Baptist Church with Bob Miller, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Channing Cemetery by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St.
Jeffrey was born July 4, 1963, in Amarillo. He graduated from Channing High School in 1981. He worked as a loader with his dad at Western Sand and Gravel for more than 15 years. He was currently employed at Flying Star Transport as a truck driver.
He was a member of South Georgia Baptist Church.
Jeffrey was a loving husband, father, son and brother.
He married Millie Wilcox on Feb. 14, 2004, in Guymon, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Scroggins, in 1986, and a brother, Billy Lee Scroggins, in 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Millie; a son, Callen Scroggins of Dumas; his father and stepmother, Billy J. and Dolores Scroggins of Amarillo; a brother, Erick N. Scroggins and wife Vikki of Pinehurst, N.C.; a sister, Jada Jackson and husband Michael of Amarillo; and numerous other family members.
The family suggests memorials be to South Georgia Baptist Church Building Fund, 5209 S. Georgia St., Amarillo, TX 79110.
