Harold C. Baxter FORT WORTH -- Graveside services for Harold C. Baxter, 90, who has several relatives in the Plainview area, were at 2 p.m. today in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Burial arrangements were by Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Home, 6001 Rufe Snow Dr., Watauga. Mr. Baxter died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in Fort Worth. He was born in Pilot Point where he attended schools. He served with the Army Air Force from 1943-46 and was retired from General Dynamics after 31 years. He enjoyed cooking. Survivors include a stepson, Andrew Jack Scroggins of Allen; a sister, Irene Baxter of Ardmore, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. His parents, Carl C. and Alta Pruitt Baxter; three brothers, Carl, Clarence and James Baxter; his stepdaughter, Joyce Johnson; and his wife, Roberta K. Baxter, whom he married in 1947, are deceased.
