Hope Edwina Donnelly, 78, died Thursday.
She was born Nov. 2, 1921, in Brooklyn, N.Y. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, she was a retired cashier in a hotel-casino and a 42-year resident of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her daughters, Edwina Scroggins of North Las Vegas and Bonnie McDaniel of Gulfport, Miss.; son, Vaughn of North Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne, where services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to American Diabetes Association.
