    Scroggins

    Hugh A. Scroggins , 82, died October 21, 2005 at Grand Lake Villa in Grove, Okla., after a very short illness. Born December 11, 1922 to Hugh A. Scroggins and Hazel McIlvin Scroggins in Springfield Mo., he attended schools in Springfield until enlisting in the Army during WWII. After two tours of duty in the Combat Engineers serving in Japan, he returned to his love of construction, traveling to many areas of the U.S. He retired from Cleveland Cement Contractors, Inc. Cleveland, Ohio, as manager of their southern office located in Richmond, Va. Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter, Alyce Novak and husband, Ronald; a grandson, a granddaughter, a great-grandson, and a great-granddaughter, all of Calif. Memorial contributions may be sent to Good Shepherd Hospice, 2084 S. Main, Grove, Okla. 74344.

    1922-2005 Hugh A. Scroggins, 82, died October 21, 2005, at Grand Lake Villa in Grove, Okla., after a very short illness. He was born Dec. 11, 1922, to Hugh A. Scroggins and Hazel (McIlvin) Scroggins in Springfield, Mo. He attended schools in Springfield until enlisting in the Army during World War II. After two tours of duty in the Combat Engineers serving in Japan, he returned to his love of construction, traveling to many areas of the U.S. He retired from Cleveland Cement Contractors, Inc., Cleveland, Ohio, as manager of their Southern office located in Richmond, Va. He moved to live out his retirement years in Grove, Okla., with his wife, Bertha (Freeman) Scroggins, enjoying his favorite pastimes, gardening and fishing. Survivors include his wife of the home a daughter, Alyce Novak and husband, Ronald a grandson a granddaughter a great-grandson a great-granddaughter, all of Calif. three nephews and their wives three nieces and many great-nephews and great-nieces. He was under the compassionate care of Good Shepperd Hospice where memorial contributions may be sent: 2084 S. Main, Grove, OK 74344.
