SYPHARD Carolyn "Carol" (Scroggins) Syphard, wife of Walter L. Syphard passed away on Good Friday, March 25, 2005 due to complications from surgery and proceeded by an extended illness. Born in Andalusia, AL, she was the daughter of Roselle M. and the late William C. Scroggins. Survivors include sons, Jason Hall of Orange Park, Stuart Syphard of St. Augustine, Stephen Syphard (Nancy) of Orlando, Mark Syphard (Lori) of Oceanside, CA and daughter Lisa Knight of Green Cove. She is also survived by her brother, Vaughn Scroggins and sister, Belva Kay Scroggins of Baker, FL. She leaves six grandchildren and numerous close friends and relatives. Carol was the Epitome of sweetness to everyone she met. Before retiring, she worked for Southern Bell Tel. Co as an Administrative Assistant for Division Mgrs.-North and East Division. Carol was a beloved member of Holiday Hill Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. Following a viewing in Crestview, FL, funeral services will be held at 11:0 0 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 6940 Atlantic Blvd; preceded by a visitation on Wednesday, March 30th from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
