    Jack Scroggins Sr., 70, a resident of Georgetown, passed away Tuesday evening, May 1, 2007, in a local hospital.

    He was the son of the late Frank Scroggins and Mae Keef Scroggins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rose Scroggins.

    He was associated with his son in the operation of Scroggins Drywall Co.

    Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law: Jackie Scroggins and his wife, Jan, of Georgetown, Timmy Scroggins and his wife, Connie of Georgetown, Mickey Scroggins and his wife, Teresa, of Etowah: daughters and sons-in-law: Linda Spencer and her husband, Chris, of Georgetown, Carla Woods and her husband, William, of Cleveland; grandchildren: Little Mickey Scroggins, Carson Scroggins, Andrew Scroggins, Amanda Cronan, Ashley Cronan, Hunter Prince, Dakota Spencer, Jordan Woods, Timothy Scroggins and Bradley Woods; one great-grandchild; brother, Cecil Scroggins of York, Pa.; sisters: Betty Gulden, Glenda Witmer and Judy Andrews, all of York; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

    A Remembrance of Life service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Jim Rush Funeral Homes, North Ocoee Chapel with the Revs. David Evans, Johnny Jones and David Cross officiating.

    Interment will follow in Cofer Cemetery in Meigs County with Donnie Howard, Glen Towns, Russell Grissom, Carson Scroggins, Andrew Scroggins, Jeff Howard, James Carden, Cory Grissom and Leslie Jones serving as pallbearers.

    The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at funeral home.
