   Shirley Scroggins Pruitt, 56, a wonderful wife and daughter, went home to be with her Lord and savior on Friday, Oct. 20, 2007. Her father, Walt Scroggins, precedes the long-time Hendersonville resident in death. Husband Don Pruitt, mother Rose Ella Scroggins, brothers Robert, Bobby and David Scroggins, survive her.
   
   Shirley is a graduate of West Henderson High School in 1969, and was employed at Kimberley Clark Corp for 33 years until 2002. She is a member of Open Door Christian Fellowship church. She is also a member of Caasi and the Clowns of Glory as “Pixie” the clown, being the anchor clown for sever of their skits.
   
   The family will be receiving visitors on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from 6 to 8 PM, at the funeral home. Shirley’s funeral will take place on Thursday October 25, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Thos. Shepherd’s Church Street Chapel. Rev. Gary Pace and Rev. Sherill Moore will officiate. Graveside service will immediately follow the funeral at Shepherd Memorial Park. The Lord shall preserve your (Shirley’s) going out and coming in from this time forth and even forever, more (Psalm 121:8 New King James Version).
