   Funeral services for Louise Pfingsten Scroggins, 66, of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Lubbock, Texas will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Friona with Leon Talley, minister of the 6th St. Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in the Friona Cemetery by Blackwell Funeral Home.
   
   A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Lubbock. She died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008 at Life Care Hospital in Plano. She had been a McKinney resident for the past two years moving from Lubbock where she had lived for over 50 years. She was born Jan. 18, 1942 in Alamogordo, NM to Charles Edward and Mabel Reed Pfingsten. She married Sam Houston Scroggins, Jr. April 2, 1959 in Lubbock. He died Oct. 23, 2006. She attended Lubbock High School and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority in Lubbock. She was a member of the Lubbock Pops Orchestra and she was a retired secretary at Com-Graphics in Lubbock. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jones in 1993 and Ramona Fish in 1991. Survivors include two daughters, Samme Goehring of Waco, Texas and Sheri Norris of McKinney, Texas; a brother Charles Pfingsten of Lubbock; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
