   Funeral services for Dallas Lane Scroggins, of Sperry, were held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Sperry High School Auditorium in Sperry, OK. Reverend Adam Stang officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Thad Carter, Steven Ford, Dylan Pitts, Mikey Pitts, Lane Cartwright, Tyler Arter, Kevin Conner, and Artie Silkey. Honorary casket bearers were David McBroom, James Cartwright, Rodney Cartwright, Donald Cartwright, Miah McCause, Mikey McCause, Rocky Forster, and Fred Ford.
   
   Dallas was born May 20, 1995 in Tulsa, OK to Jerry Scroggins and Gina Dawn (Cartwright) McBroom. He passed away July 28, 2013 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 18.
   
   Dallas graduated from Sperry High School. He enjoyed going to rodeos, bull riding, horseback riding, rodeo bareback, football, track, and wrestling. Dallas loved spending time with his family and friends, nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters. He was a very loving and giving person who was loved by many and will be missed by all.
   
   He is survived by his mother and dad, Gina and David McBroom; father and mom, Jerry and Joyce Scroggins; grandparents, Donna Smith, Donald and Brenda Cartwright, Joanna McBroom, and Bob Blair; brother, David McBroom; sisters, Tiara Scroggins-Ford, Sabrina Scroggins-Carter, and Brittany McBroom; uncles, Rodney Cartwright, Randy McBroom, and James Cartwright; nieces, Aubrey and Abby; nephews, Payton and Thadeus; and many other relatives and friends.
   
   He was preceded in death by his brother, Austin Scroggins, great-grandparents, Donald and Betty Cartwright, Imogene Blair, Melvin McBroom, and Donald Hardison; and aunt, Nancy Seaman.

   The second passenger in the Chevrolet truck was Dallas Scroggins, 18, of Sperry. He was transported to St. Francis Hospital by Life Flight, but he later died from his injuries sustained in the crash.
