Ty worked for several years in Mena at the Chopping Block, Limetree Restaurant and Papa's Mexican Café. Ty was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her son, Dustin Peppers.
Ty is survived by her husband, Robby Scroggins, her parents, Ray and Julie Leach of Hodgens, Oklahoma, three sons, Kyle and Page both of Acorn and Josh of Zafra, Oklahoma, two step daughters, Carmen of Springdale and Kendra of Clarksville, four brothers, Larry of Oregon, Raymond of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Rex of Lexington, Kentucky and Daniel. Also survived by three sisters, Suzanne of Muse, Oklahoma, Rainy of Louisville, Kentucky and Lucretia, two grandchildren, Dillinger and Trey of Springdale, and several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

June 13, 1975 - May 20, 2013Tyaleah “Ty” Marlene Scroggins, age 37, of Zafra, Oklahoma died Monday, May 20, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born on Friday, June 13, 1975 in Scottsburg, Indiana.
Ty was a lady that everyone loved and she in returned loved you. She cared about everything that was going on in everyone else’s life and worried about herself later. She was a very hard worker who always had a positive attitude; always greeting you with a smile. Ty worked for several years in Mena at the Chopping Block, Limetree Restaurant and Papa’s Mexican Café. She valued and loved life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her children were her prize; she readily had stories to tell about them. She enjoyed the outdoors, horseback riding, 4-wheeling and going on walks. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church at Octavia. Ty was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her son, Dustin Peppers.
Ty is survived by her husband, Robby Scroggins of the home; her parents, Ray and Julie Leach of Hodgens, Oklahoma; three sons, Kyle Peppers and Page Peppers both of Acorn and Josh Peppers of Zafra, Oklahoma; two step daughters, Carmen Baumen of Springdale and Kendra Scroggins of Clarksville; four brothers, Larry Leach of Oregon, Raymond Leach of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Rex Duty of Lexington, Kentucky and Daniel Leach; three sisters, Suzanne Leach of Muse, Oklahoma, Rainy Duty of Louisville, Kentucky and Lucretia Duty; two grandchildren, Dillinger and Trey Bauman of Springdale; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 27, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Trinity Baptist Church in Octavia, Oklahoma with Brother Randy Keiss officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Cemetery in Rocky under the direction of Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena. Visitation will be Sunday, May 26, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mena.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Ty Scroggins Memorial Fund C/O Chamber’s Bank P.O. Box 706 Mena, Arkansas 71953.
