BIRTH, DEATH AND MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES AND TRANSCRIPTIONS

Due to the new privacy law, you will have to contact the county through one of the email addresses below to find out what the new requirements are for obtaining birth, death and marriage certificates.

If you are coming to Siskiyou County to transcribe information from a certificate, you will need to email the county two working days in advance.  Give as much information as possible, i.e., names, dates, book number, page number and so forth.  When you arrive at the courthouse the information you requested will be available on the computers that are set up in the Auditor's Office.  When you email the county, use the following format exactly...send to:

[email protected]  with a cc: to [email protected] and [email protected]

NOTE:  If you use the above emails for records searches, you will be charged by the county for the search.

Note: The price of Certified copies of Death Certificates is $11.00

Death Certificate: $11.00

Birth Certificate: $13.00

Marriage Certificate: $13.00
