The Mormon Church has several Free Databases

including the 1880-81 Census returns for Britain, Canada and the USA
Information in the IGI is not necessarily proven as some information had
been added by church members. One of their beliefs is that
documenting a family line allows all members to be baptized in the faith
even after death.
Genuki, Genealogy in the UK
and Ireland
Genuki is an extensive reference source arranged by country, region,
county and town and includes links to all important British genealogical
societies.
FreeBMD
Transcriptions of the civil registration index of births, marriages
and deaths for England and Wales.
Commonwealth War Graves Commission
Find records for an ancestor who served in either World War I or World
War II. Records include name of mother and father.
