Hilbert Earl Jones, 6, rural Roann, died at 1:50 a.m. Sunday, May 10, 1998, at Dunn Memorial Hospital, Bedford. He was born on Oct. 7,1931, in Martin County to Herman and Oma (Phillips) Jones. He married Ida Emmons on Dec. 24, 1955. She survives. He was a retired minister and factory worker. He was a member of the Bible Holiness Church. Also surviving are six children, Connie Hart and Donna Salmon, both of Loogootee, Michelle Sisco, Roann, Robert Jones, Phoenix, Ariz., Ronnie Jones, Santa Claus, and Daniel Ray Jones, Fayetteville, N.C.; two sisters, Helen Martin and Mary Lou Martin, both of French Lick; and 11 grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Brosmer-Drabing Funeral Home, French Lick, Brothers Clark and Nolan Stroud will officiate. Burial will be in Crystal Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.".

He was born Nov. 29, 1998, in Fort Wayne, to Larry Gene Honeycutt Jr. and Lisa Marie Gant. They survive in Wabash. Also surviving are his maternal grandfather, William Gant, Wabash; his maternal grandmother, Karen Gant, Wabash; his paternal grandparents, Larry and Debbie Honeycutt, Wabash; his maternal great-grandmother, Ilene Sellers, Somerset; his paternal great-grandmother, Virginia Honeycutt, Wabash; and his paternal great-grandparents, Thomas and Mrs. Hubbard, Lagro. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Lawns Cemetery. Pastor Danny Honeycutt will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.".

"Indianapoli-- Isaac Strong, 61, Roann, press operator at General Tire and Rubber Company, Wabash, died yesterday in Methodist Hospital here. He was born May 15,1917, in Scott County, Virginia, to Charles and Lillie (Nash) Strong. The mother survives and lives in St Paul, Virginia. He was first married to Audrey Corder, who died January 23,1964. On December 21, 1965, he married Joyce Dials, who survives. Surviving with the widow are three sons, Cline Strong, Nickelsville, Virginia, Clarence Strong, Lynchburg, Virginia; and Barney Strong, Nickelsville, Virginia; two step-sons, Floyd West, Wabash and Jim West, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Emil (Virginia) Davidson, Roanoke, Virginia, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Draper,Lagro, Mrs. W.E. (Betty) Leonard, Holston, Virginia, and Evelyn and Theresa Strong, both at home, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Rod (Brenda) Titus, Roann. Also surviving are seven sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Charmie) Cunningham, Bristol, Virginia; Mrs. Newton (Marie) Mann, Dungannon,Virginia; Mrs. William (Ethel) Everett, Muncie; Mrs. Bob (Eva) Piercy, Knoxville, Tennessee; Mrs. Fred (Juanita) Blankenship, Beckley, West Virginia; Mrs. Joseph (Dola) Meade, Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Burt (Peggy) Hileman, St. Paul, Virginia; four brothers, Lilburn B. Strong, Oklahoma; Carl Stron, Dungannon, Virginia; Jimmy Strong, Defiance, Ohio, and Billy Strong, Castlewood, Virginia; 15 grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Mr. Strong, a Roann resident for 30 years, was a member of the American Federation of Musicians and a veteran of World War II. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Grandstaff Funeral Home, Roann.
