ANNA WEBB DIES NOVEMBER 25 Services held Thurday At United Baptist Mrs. Anna Spears Webb, 84, died at the home of her son, Dave Webb, Paintsville, Nov. 25, (1952), following an illness of several years. Born February 29, 1868, she was the daughter of Enoch and Melinda Williams Spears. She was a member of the United Baptist Church. Surviving are four sons, W.G. Webb, Auxier, Dave Webb, city, Herbert Webb, Huntington, W. Va., Haskel Webb, city; three daughters, Nettie Ratcliff, Lackey, Mintie Conley, Van Lear, Bertha George, Thelma; 27 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and two-great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 27, 1952) at the United Baptist Church at Paintsville with Revs. F.F. Rigsby and O.I. Williams officiating. Interment was made in the Southside cemetery under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home. Paintsville Herald Thursday December 4, 1952.".
