SleepingAncestors
HEADSTONES AND MARKERS
Dedicated to all who have come before and left their mark on our human timeline. Please feel free to use these photographs for your families genealogy. If you prefer NOT to have your families headstones on this site please email me at [email protected] or use the Guestbook to leave a note.. This site is updated weekly, I will start yearly updates in April. As many, early buriels were unmarked or marked with wooden markers that weathered away. I would apprecite any information on family burials in Lea County.
Please "Do Not" harvest these photos for Findagrave or Commercial sites. Photos are copyright protected 2006 - 2016 by SleepingAncestors and Erny Long with all rights are reserved.

If you have "Civil War or Spanish-American War veteran" ancestors that are buried at the cemeteries, please use the Guest Book or Email to drop me a note. A local researcher is documenting these veterans.
If you have found marked or unmarked graves in the local fields in and around Lea County, New Mexico, please provide directions or GPS cordinates or directions.
I will work to get the graves photographed and possibly indentified.
