King and Maude (Ziegenfuss) King Rogers. She worked for the former Laros Silk Mill, Burron and the former Bitronics, all in Bethlehem. She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Bethlehem.
Survivors: Son, Edward W. Buss and his wife, Claire C., of Bethlehem; daughter, Janice K., wife of Robert S. Shinko, of Sun City, Arizona; stepson, Ray J. He died at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem of a heart attack, and is buried at Bethlehem Memorial Park alongside his wife Naomi. Woodrow and his twin brother, Wilson Howard Buss, were named after President Woodrow Wilson. Woodrow helped the family business by driving an ice cream truck in the Hellertown, Bethlehem, and Allentown areas. Later, he worked as a laborer for Pembrook Coal Company in Bethlehem and then as a truck driver for Bethlehem Steel Fabricators, delivering steel to NY. Woodrow’s parents were Albert Clayton Buss (26 Jan 1891 - 27 Dec 1968) and Bertha May Leidich (1896 - 22 Jan 1967).

Asher A. Hetrick, 76, of Spruce Street, Hellertown, died Sunday, Aug. 1, at home. He was the husband of Anna L. (Prielozny) Hetrick. They were married for 56 years in June.

A master plumber, he owned and operated Asher Hetrick & Son, Plumbing and Heating, Hellertown, 1981-91. He was employed by Plumber's Union Local 690, Philadelphia, 1972-81, and worked for plumbing firms in the Bethlehem area, 1965-72 and 1947-55. He was self-employed in Hellertown, 1955-64.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Russell and Viola (Weiland) Hetrick.

An Army veteran of World War II, he was a sergeant in the 101st Airborne Division, the "Screaming Eagles." He fought in the Invasion of Normandy and the battles of the Rhineland, Ardennes and in Central Europe. He received the Purple Heart Award and Distinguished Unit Badge, both with Oak Leaf Cluster, and a European Campaign Medal with four Bronze Stars. He was a member of Edward F. Ackerman American Legion Post 397 and Dewey Fire Company, both in Hellertown.

John F. Ulrich, 57, of Coopersburg R.1, died Monday while hunting in Promised Land Park, Greene Township, Pike County.

Chief Deputy Coroner Kevin T. Stroyan said Ulrich died of cardiac arrest.

Ulrich was the husband of Mary D. (Knoll) Ulrich. He was a forger at Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 35 years.

Born in Lower Saucon Township, he was a son of the late John F. and Stella (Bauder) Ulrich.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Sharon M. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Maryann Donnelly of East Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Barker of Bethlehem and Jean E., wife of Edwin Umstead of Fountainville, Bucks County, and four grandchildren.
