COUPLE IS FETED ON GOLD WEDDING ANNIVERSARY DATE
     Mt. Carroll, Ill., Dec 7--(Special)--Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Dynes, residents of this city for 31 years, were honored at a 1 o'clock dinner this afternoon in Hotel Glen-View on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
     Attending the dinner were Mr. and Mrs. George McKinley and two sons, George and Milly of Riverside; Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Larson, son, David, and daughter, Marsha of Joliet; Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Zander, daughters, Anne and Carla, and son, Steven of Madison, Wis. Mrs. McKinley, Mrs. Larson, and Mrs. Zander are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Dynes. Also at the dinner were Philo Dynes, a brother of Mr. Dynes, and his wife of Sabula, Iowa, Mrs Fanny Bailey of Elgin, a sister of Mr. Dynes, and Miss Sabra Crawford of Miles, Iowa, a close friend of the family.
    A son, Lt. Cmdr. John Dynes, stationed at San Pedro, Calif., his wife and daughter were unable to be here.
    Mr. and Mrs. Dynes were married Dec. 7, 1893, in the Dynes' family home in Sabula, Iowa, by the Rev. J. F. Hestwood. They farmed for 19 years on the Dynes homestead west of Sabula, when they moved to this city. Mrs. Dynes is the former Kate M. Snyder, daughter of John and Elizabeth Snyder. Mr. Dynes' parents were James and Emily Dynes. Both Mr. and Mrs. Dynes are 74 years old and are enjoying good health.
