Company B, U. S. Army, World War II, Remaining Veterans, Athens, Tennessee

The photo above is courtesy of The Daily Post-Athenian, the only newspaper in Athens, McMinn CO, TN. Unfortunately, the names are listed erroneously and so out of order from the order in which members stand. My corrections are listed below.

To my knowledge, the name of veteran in wheel chair is correct as well as the first row standing behind him. I remember James "Jim" McSpadden and Charles Hughes pictured and named correctly. Beginning left on second row, names are listed erroneously. The first man on left in second row is my husband's great-uncle Isaac "Ike" Vincent Goins, Technician 4 for the company. Behind him, the first man standing on the third row is listed as Robert Coleman but went by "Vic." He is Robert Victor "Vic" Coleman, Corporal, who served not only in WW II but also the Korean War. He is my husband's first cousin once removed and was a neighbor to my parents in Athens after his retirement. I do not know if the other names listed are correct.
