Post Office at Mouse Creek Depot Changed to Fountain Hill in 1858


In April 1858, a post office kept at the Mouse Creek Depot in McMinn CO, TN was changed to the name Fountain Hill according to this article from The Athens Post published April 23, 1858. Fountain Hill, which was located in Districts 4 and 5 in 1860, is now part of Niota Community.
