Moore's Crossroads and Sewee Received Tri-weekly Mail Service in June 1858


In June 1858, residents of Sewee, Moore's Crossroads, and Brady's Ferry in Meigs CO, TN received mail tri-weekly. Only three years later when the Civil War erupted, this mail route was discontinued according to an article from The Athens Post published on June 28, 1861.
