Many thanks to cousin June Herman of Vinita, OK for sending this photocopy of the monument and for a great deal of help on the Parker, Powell, Welch, and Taylor lines! This tombstone is located in Jonathan Parker Cemetery at Marble, Cherokee CO, NC. Unfortunately, it has been broken in two places; the long slab now lies in three pieces.
