Dear Cousin I was very much pleased to hear from you and I have ? you a little note in return Today is my birthday I am 12 years old today and people tell me I grow so very tall mother says she should be glad if I did not grow quite so fast I am obliged to you for the picture you sent me and I have sent a little present in return it was only 1 penny and that was very cheap give my love to aunt and uncle and all my cousins and uncle Tom and tell him I ? like to see him in his soldier dress but I cannot remember his going out but I think I can just remember your going out I send my love to you I wonder which grows the fastest me or Henry I should like to see you very much perhaps we shall some day such a thing might happen I gave ?
