Irene married Robert Lester Nichols and lived in Clear Lake, IA.  Together they had two children:

  2. Judy Irene Nicholes (David Anderson)

Irene (Spilman) Nichols kept in touch with the English Spilmans and invited Anne (Spilman) and Alan Wood to come visit Clear Lake, IA in 1972.

Irene went to England to visit the Woods and Ann gave her letter #2 from the collection of letters from Dan Spilman that Ann had in her possession.
