AL BURNS
On May 21, 1889, Engineer Burns, engine 74, refused to switch ten head cars off his train onto No. 6 track at Hammond in order to get a West Point car ahead. Engineer censured and notified that continuous conduct of this nature would result in his being dropped from the service.

Suspended 5 days for running on time of No. 55 from Hammond to 55th Street without orders on Nov. 3, 1889. Suspended 5 days for allowing his fireman to run engine on main track at Kenton, Dec. 10th. Report 670.
