Entered service Sept. 12th, 1882 as brakeman. Promoted to extra train baggageman March, 1886, to a regular baggage car May, 1887.

Suspended 10 days from 03/14/1895 for carrying a diptheria corpse from Hammond to Ohio City on No. 8, Feb. 5th, 1895. Suspended 7 days from June 1st for failure to take account of and make way bills for all registered packages received from Cincinnati Division on No. 5, April 13, 1897.
