Erie Railroad Biography - George E. Ferguson


From the November 19, 1921 issue of The New York Times:
G.E. Ferguson, veteran locomotive engineer on the Erie, died suddenly yesterday of heart disease in his home at Smith's Corners, NY. He was 67 years old.




From the December, 1921 issue of Erie Railroad Magazine:
The Port Jervis Gazette printed a notice of the death of George E. Ferguson. It stated that he was an Erie engineer and died suddenly of heart failure at his home in Smiths Corners. He was 67 years old and was a resident of Port Jervis 35 years.
