Suspended 1 week Jan., 24th, 1889 for making running switch at Bolivar contrary to bulletin notice of July 31, 1888. Suspended 30 days Dec. 7th for leaving Huntington against 4th 82 with 1st 85 without orders. Suspended 10 days July 3rd for following leading section so close that when leading section was flagged he could not stop his train, resulting in slight collision.
Suspended 10 days for hauling Erie 23398 (loaded with merchandise billed to Huntington) on 3rd 81, April 24th, 1893. Suspended 15 days from August 7th for failure to carry green signals out of Hammond on 2nd 84, for 3rd 84, July 29th, 1894.
Suspended 7 days from Jan 3rd for hauling CHV&T 15475 (loaded with scrap nails) from Chicago to Huntington on 1st 84, Dec. 9th, 1896.
Sept. 15, 1902, dismissed for not seeing that his train was properly protected, and for carrying passengers on freight train without proper authority. File 8624.
February 23, 1903, reinstated. August 25, 1903, promoted to extra passenger conductor.
