Reprimanded January 31st, 1892 for derailment at North Judson, Jan. 22nd, caused by his throwing switch wrong. Suspended 5 days from Oct. 10th for damage to cars at Akron on Sept. 20, 1892. Suspended 10 days for backing caboose off derail at North Judson on 2nd 86, May 12, 1893.
Suspended 7 days from Sept. 24th for not wearing glasses on duty and when braking ahead on #85 of Sept. 13th, 1896, train parted at Clanricarde, Ind., which fact he did not disclose until he arrived at Palmer. Suspended 5 days from Oct. 28th for backing cars through a switch at Griffith on 2nd 77 of Oct. 25th, 1897. Promoted to freight conductor on November 5, 1899.
