GEORGE W. FREED
Born Connellsville, PA, May 18, 1868. Age 29, single, residence of parents Noyes, PA. In case of injury, notify parents, James and Susan Freed, above address. Formerly worked PFW&C RR, Eastern Division, Supt. A.B. Starr, as brakeman, Feb. 1, 1891 to Dec. 7, 1895. Entered service of the Chicago & Erie as brakeman January 23rd, 1896. Discharged to reduce the force May 31st, 1896. Reemployed Nov. 23rd, 1896.

Suspended 10 days for derailing a car at Rochester making a running switch, April 27, 1897. On Sept. 5, 1901, assigned to position of extra passenger brakeman. On Nov. 19, 1901, promoted to regular passenger brakeman. On July 23, 1906, promoted to train baggage agent.
