Erie Railroad Biography - H.W. Bartlett

H.W. Bartlett, B&SW engineer, has retired after reaching three score years and ten. He entered the service of the company March 26, 1878, having a record of forty-three years, running between Buffalo and Jamestown. He is planning to leave shortly for California with his wife and daughter, where they will make their home. He was presented with a traveling bag, an umbrella and a box of cigars by fellow engineers on the branch.
