Married, resides at Marion, OH. Age 23. Entered service as brakeman Dec. 24th, 1888. Suspended 5 days from Aug. 26th, 1893 for standing on seat arms to light coaches at Chicago Aug. 16th. Suspended 20 days from Nov. 13th for smoking on duty on train 12, Sept. 7th, 1896, and for not telling the Superintendent the whole truth.

Promoted to train baggage agent Sept. 10th, 1899.
