O.L. WILDER
Entered service of the C&E as brakeman July 24th, 1888. Reprimanded Jan. 22, 1889 for breaking drawbar in car at Griffith and not stopping car soon enough, causing it to strike other cars.

On May 17th, 1891, promoted to passenger brakeman. Suspended ten days Apr. 15th with conductor W.H. Laughlin - general careless way of taking care of train at Palmer on the night of Apr. 14th resulting in serious delay to other trains.

Promoted to regular baggage car May 2nd, 1895. Forced back to passenger brakeman July 25th, 1895 by V. Major re-entering passenger service as train baggage agent. Interfered between Conductor Godden and passenger holding expired pass on No. 1, March 3rd, 1897, he and Godden having a serious quarrel. Wilder taken off the run March 16th and told but for the fact he was a married man he would be dismissed, but was placed on flag run between Chicago and Hammond.

Promoted to train baggage agent June 22nd, 1900.
