S.C. SPRINGER
Age 23, single. Notify in case of injury mother Mrs. Wm. Springer, Ellicottsville, NY. Formerly employed in Marion Yard. Enters service of C&E as brakeman, Western Division, Feb. 19th, 1892.

Granted 30 days leave of absence March 10th, 1892. Entered service of Eastern Division as switchman, Huntington Yard, Feb. 10th, 1893.

Reemployed as freight brakeman, Western Division, July 22, 1894, and on Sept. 1st, 1894 it was decided by Supt. Coe that he should have no rights to promotion over men employed previous to the time he was transferred from the yard back to the road. But in case of reduction of force, all men who had entered the service later than July 1st, 1894 should be laid off before he is laid off. Resigned Jan. 2nd, 1895.
