THOMAS GORMAN
Age 32, married. Two children. Entered the service as switchman 51st Street, Nov. 22nd, 1895. Previously employed 11 years as brakeman and conductor on the Susquehanna Division and recommended by Supt. J.F. Maguire. Transfered to Hammond Yard, May 4th, 1896.
Promoted to yard conductor March 1st, 1899. Work as yard conductor not satisfactory to Yardmaster Fetterly, poor memory, had to be watched too much. Set back to the position of permanent switchman June 20th, 1899. Resigned July 29th, 1900.
