Erie Railroad Biography - William Barry

From the July, 1927 issue of Erie Railroad Magazine:
WILLIAM BERRY — William Berry, a former locomotive engineer, died suddenly on May 12 (1927) at his home in Corry, Pa. He was 74 years old. He was born in Cuba, N.Y. When a young man he became a fireman on the Atlantic & Great Western Railroad (now Erie) and then was promoted to engineer and served for many years until retired on account of eye trouble. He was a member of the Catholic church of Corry. He is survived by three sons: Donald, of Corry, Frank, of Buffalo, and William, of Cleveland.
