Erie Railroad Biography - C.F. Frum, J.F. Bannon, H.W. Barnes

From the July, 1910 issue of Erie Railroad Magazine:

THREE MEN OF YOUNGSTOWN.
The cut which accompanies this brief sketch, shows three bold and loyal employes of the picturesque Erie, who do business in the bustling city of Youngstown, OH. They are C.F. Frum, police officer; J.F. Bannon, station master, and H.W. Barnes. telegraph operator. The photograph was taken in front of "Y.O." office, specially for this magazine, and for that reason it will be noted that each has thrown a "bold front."

Mr. Bannon has been in the Company's service for 23 years, as Station and Yard Master, coming from the Pennsylvania Railroad, where he was employed for 24 years, making 47 years in railroad service. Mr. Barnes has been in the service of the Company for 15 years, as Telegraph Operator. Mr. Frum has been in the Erie's service for over three years, as Police Officer, at Youngstown, coming from the Pennsylvania Railroad, where he was employed in the same capacity for five years.
